ALKOL BAĞIMLILIĞININ TEDAVİSİNDE EGZERSİZİN YERİ

Son yıllarda, egzersizin çeşitli psikiyatrik sorunların tedavisinde ek faydaları olabileceği düşüncesi güçlenmekte ve değişik bozukluklarda kullanılması ile ilgili çalışmalar planlanmaktadır. Alkol bağımlılığı tedavisinde, daha uzun süre ayık kalmayı ve alkolün yol açtığı fiziksel sorunların üstesinden gelmeyi sağlayacak ek tedavi planlarına ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır. Egzersizin duygudurum, dopaminerjik sistem, uyku gibi alanlardaki fizyolojik ve psikolojik etkileri göz önünde bulundurulduğunda, alkolle ilişkili sorunların tedavisinde faydalı olabileceği düşünülebilir. Ne yazık ki, alkol kullanım sorunlarının tedavisinde egzersizin yerinin araştırıldığı çok az sayıda klinik araştırma bulunmaktadır. Bu gözden geçirme yazısında bu verilerin incelenmesi ve ilerideki çalışmalar için bir yol haritası çizilmesi planlanmıştır.
